The "schedule by text" option that staff see on the conference schedule's "sharing options" is intended as an easy way for teachers to let parents know about and access the conference schedule. 

For example, a teacher at back to school night can write the phone number & code on the whiteboard so that parents get the schedule and can sign up for conferences. After a parent texts the code to the number provided, a link to the conference schedule will be texted to the parent. The parent can click on the link and immediately view the conference schedule and register for a conference.
